Asti had never thought she would ever be an actress. Her experience and interest had always been assisting behind the scenes. From high school musicals, college and other theatre productions she tend to volunteer her services to assist with anything that was required behind the stage (i.e. costumes, lighting, set design, sound, coordinate, etc.)
Her first appearance on stage was for the St. Agnes Church production of “Hooray for Hollywood” in San Diego where the parish priest asked her to come and help by being in the show. Convinced her performance would be an utter disaster, she was very much surprised by its outcome. Asked following the show of what she thought of it, Asti replied, “Tomatoes! I thought they would throw tomatoes at me. I was convinced! Look I even brought wipes just in case.” It was just the beginning.
She has appeared in the TV series The Listener, Beauty and the Beast, Degrassi, Covert Affairs, Lost Girl, The Next Step, ABC's new TV series Lucky 7, and the feature films: Atom Egoyan's "Queen of the Night" starring Ryan Reynolds and Rosario Dawson, Disney's "Paris", David Cronenberg's "Maps to the Stars", and "No Stranger Than Love". She was the principal actress playing a Psychology Professor for the short film "Anti Stigma", and in the TV Commercial "The Bistro" for Continental Hair.
She is the lead model for a few commercial print projects, and is training to be able to do her own stunt work. Asti is a student of Sharon Chatten, and continues her acting training while in Hollywood North at Armstrong Acting Studios.
